Women’s Health GP

Rebecca is a dedicated general practitioner with a strong passion for women’s health. After graduating with honours from Monash University in 2003, she completed her GP training in 2010 and has since developed a special interest in supporting women’s health and well-being through all stages of life.

In addition to working at Bundle Women’s Health, Rebecca also works in general practice, and within the Women’s Health Unit at Frankston Hospital. Some of her areas of expertise include antenatal and postnatal care, early pregnancy complications, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, sexual health, and menopause management. Rebecca is able to provide shared care for women planning to deliver at Frankston Hospital.

Rebecca is known for her warm, holistic, and patient-centered approach. She is committed to empowering women with the knowledge and care they need to make informed choices about their health.

Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys cooking, entertaining, travelling, and staying active. She loves exploring the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. She is married and a proud mother of two girls.

I would like to birth at Peninsula University Hospital, can I see Dr Jung for my pregnancy? +

Yes. Rebecca is a passionate advocate for the known benefits of continuity of care in pregnancy.  Her areas of expertise include antenatal and postnatal care and management of early pregnancy complications.  She is delighted to offer pregnancy and post-natal care at Bundle House for women birthing at PUH as public patients, as well as routine follow up for all women and their newborns in the 4th trimester.

I’m interested in Menopausal Hormonal Therapy, does Dr Jung prescribe this? +

Yes. Rebecca is a keen supporter of  women throughout every stage of midlife hormonal change.  Through a comprehensive assessment of your individual circumstances and concerns she will guide you through informed decision making as to whether menopausal hormonal therapy will benefit you and your wellbeing.

My baby needs a 6 week check up. Can Dr Jung see us for this? +

Yes, Rebecca loves having new mums and babies in the clinic for their follow up appointments. No matter where your baby was born you are able to book for them to see Rebecca for your 6 week check. If you don't already have an obstetrician managing your post natal care Rebecca is also able to provide a comprehensive post birth follow up for you; including discussion on birth debrief, future pregnancy plans, contraception and maternal physical and emotional wellbeing.
