Dr Amy Swanson is an enthusiastic, dedicated and compassionate doctor who prides herself on delivering safe and evidence-based woman-centred care.
Amy completed a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in 2001 (Monash University, Melbourne), with majors in Drama and Theatre Studies, Psychology and Physiology. Her academic achievements also include an Honours Degree in Female Reproduction (2002, Monash University, Melbourne) and dual scholarship funded research in Maternal Fetal Medicine (2003, Monash University, Melbourne).
Amy completed a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery Degree (Australian National University, Canberra) in 2007 with the sole purpose of specialising in Women’s Health (FRANZCOG, 2019). Throughout her specialist training (Eastern and Southern Health)
Amy has published as first-author in the fields of Neonatology, Obstetrics & Paediatric Gynaecology.
Her particular area of interest is caring for pregnant women with complex medical conditions and/or fetal complications. With a holistic approach, she also enjoys managing the health care needs of women through the poignant stages of reproductive life, mindful of the emotional, physical and mental challenges these bring. Amy was raised and is now raising her own family on the Mornington Peninsula. She is delighted to provide outstanding care to the
women of her local community.
Amy is consulting with Bundle Women's Health until Christmas 2026 and will then be relocating interstate.
